Logistics & Asset Management

Logistics & Asset Management

The total cost of ownership of a capability or asset is heavily influenced by the through-life support cost. Up to 70% of the cost of total ownership are incurred after the asset or capability enters service through to its retirement. Through life supportability needs to be designed into the asset and capability to influence the life cycle cost and design the support model to achieve the desired level of availability and asset sweating.

Once in service, support cost optimisation requires an in-depth understanding of supply chain dynamics, system design and failure modes, and the influence of the operating environment on the asset availability. The repair, upgrade or retire decision carry huge financial implications and directly affect the mission or the return on investments. Our people understands the nexus between technology and cost.

With experience designing highly complex military systems such as submarines to working with aircraft leasing companies looking to maximise the value of their investments, we are well equipped to help our customers maximise the sweating of their assets and increasing their return on investments.

With our global presence, we bring the best logistics and asset management practices to our customers. Whether it the latest armoured vehicle or the newest rail rolling stock, we have our systematic logistics and asset management process to maximise our customer’s investment in their assets.

Our capabilities include:

  • Through Life Support Planning
  • Logistics Support Analysis
  • Inventory and Supply Chain Optimisation
  • ISO 55000 and PAS 55 Asset Management Frameworks
