Greg Rawlinson receives HALSPO Commendation

Congratulations to Greg Rawlinson who, last week, was presented a HALSPO (Heavy Air Lift systems Program Office) Commendation for his work as the C-17A and KC-30A Capability Development Coordinator.

Greg was presented the prestigious commendation by HALSPO Director Morrison, which made specific reference to his ”professionalism and commitment to successfully managing a diverse and complex program of projects’.

Congratulations Greg, and the Amberley based HALSPO team!

Nova Group listed amongst Top 100 South Australian Businesses

Nova Group – Nova Systems parent brand –  has just been named at #58, amongst the Top 100 South Australian Businesses, in the InDaily’s Business Index for 2016.

The Index is based on analysis of market capitalisation by local South Australian financial services company Taylor Collison.

Nova Systems Hauls RAAF C-17A Globemaster III for Charity

On Thurs, 13 Oct 16 at RAAF Base Amberley a suitably Safari Suited QLD Nova Systems team, pulled a 128,000kg RAAF C-17A Globemaster III to raise funds for Friends with Dignity.

Friends with Dignity is a not for profit organisation that assists men, women and children who are victims of domestic violence. All funds raised from the event will go directly to emergency clothing, housing needs and other much needed resources for displaced victims of Domestic Violence.

13 teams participated in this fantastic event. Thanks to Rowan Carter for leading the Nova push (or should we say “pull”) and to RAAF Amberley’s 28SQN for the great imagery.

Nova Systems presents at the Army Innovation Day 2016

Nova Systems has presented their “Nova Rova” at the Army Innovation Day 2016.

The Nova Rova is an autonomous land-based, low-cost, high-speed, agile target system for the Australian Defence Force to test their weapon systems and train their personnel.

Leveraging over 15 years’ experience in providing test and evaluation services to Defence both in Australia and Internationally, Nova Rova is part of Nova Systems’ turnkey range services solutions. The complete solution encompasses test planning, range safety, target setup, operation and clean up as well as results analysis and reporting.

The Nova Rova is a realistic target for the Australian Defence Force. Evolving out of its award winning Innovation program, the Nova Rova system will be capable of 100kph autonomously and 60km stand-off to address the ADF’s needs to directly engage an agile, non-linear, low cost, expendable target while allowing personnel to remain safely outside the test area. This capability is currently not available in Australia.

Nova Systems at Land Forces Conference

The Nova Systems Land & Emergency Services team have just wrapped up a successful Land Forces conference at the Adelaide Convention Center, Australia’s premier land defence exhibition and a leading defence forum for Australia, Asia and the Indo-Pacific region.

It was great to see some of the platforms that our team has been supporting of the past period, the Thales Hawkeii vehicle in particular was a standout.
