Nova is part of the AROSE consortium which is designing a remotely operated lunar rover. It will be Australia’s first rover travelling to the moon as part of NASA’s Artemis program.
The Artemis will see NASA establish a long-term presence on the surface of the Moon.
The mission requires the lunar rover to be operated remotely to collect lunar soil and deliver it to NASA’s processing facility on the Moon to extract oxygen.
This is a critical step in supporting a sustainable human presence on the Moon and Mars.
Nova Systems will be part of the AROSE Lunar Rover presence at the 17th Australian Space Forum in Adelaide on July 24-25.
