Nova Group announces the acquisition of Geoplex

Nova Group – Nova Systems parent brand – today announced the acquisition of the Australian based geospatial firm, Geoplex.
Geoplex is a professional services company specialising in enterprise geospatial systems and data management solutions. The company employs a team of highly experienced geospatial software developers, designers and consultants who use agile and inventive approaches to deliver mapping solutions that help people see their world from a new perspective.
Announcing the acquisition, Nova Group Global CEO Greg Hume said, ‘The acquisition of Geoplex reinforces Nova Group’s position as a fully integrated, end to end solutions firm, enabling technology to help solve the problems that really matter for our clients.’
Nova Group acts as the parent company for professional services provider Nova Systems, civil aerospace engineering firm GVH Aerospace, and integrated communications specialists Auspace.
‘Nova Group has made a number of acquisitions over time, with Geoplex representing a further significant step towards achievement of our global strategy and regional aspirations, notably within the Australian and New Zealand markets. Geoplex adds complementary capabilities to our professional services business Nova Systems, and strengthens our technology offerings within Auspace.’

Greg Rawlinson receives HALSPO Commendation

Congratulations to Greg Rawlinson who, last week, was presented a HALSPO (Heavy Air Lift systems Program Office) Commendation for his work as the C-17A and KC-30A Capability Development Coordinator.
Greg was presented the prestigious commendation by HALSPO Director Morrison, which made specific reference to his ”professionalism and commitment to successfully managing a diverse and complex program of projects’.

Nova Group listed amongst Top 100 South Australian Businesses

Nova Group – Nova Systems parent brand – has just been named at #58, amongst the Top 100 South Australian Businesses, in the InDaily’s Business Index for 2016.
The Index is based on analysis of market capitalisation by local South Australian financial services company Taylor Collison.
Nova Systems Hauls RAAF C-17A Globemaster III for Charity

On Thurs, 13 Oct 16 at RAAF Base Amberley a suitably Safari Suited QLD Nova Systems team, pulled a 128,000kg RAAF C-17A Globemaster III to raise funds for Friends with Dignity.
Friends with Dignity is a not for profit organisation that assists men, women and children who are victims of domestic violence. All funds raised from the event will go directly to emergency clothing, housing needs and other much needed resources for displaced victims of Domestic Violence.
13 teams participated in this fantastic event. Thanks to Rowan Carter for leading the Nova push (or should we say “pull”) and to RAAF Amberley’s 28SQN for the great imagery.
