Challenge
The aircraft had to be reconfigured to an all-economy 180-passenger layout, compliant with EASA, in addition to the mandatory CAAC modifications.
Solution
The aircraft were originally in an all-economy 180-economy layout that did not comply with CAAC requirements. These seats had to be replaced with new seats that fully satisfied 25.562. On behalf of the client, Nova Systems managed to source and supply of the seats and other materials required by this modification. And by working closely with a CAAC design organisation partner, Nova Systems was able to provide our client an engineering solution that satisfy both EASA and CAAC requirements.
