Nova Systems partners to ensure pathways for women in Defence
- Sep 3, 2020
Nova Systems has partnered with ‘The Future Through Collaboration’ (TFTC) mentoring program to help build pathways within the Australian defence landscape for women in the fields of STEM.
This year, three Novans with backgrounds in engineering and program management will participate in the program as mentees where they will be provided with the opportunity to work with senior mentors and develop skills that will allow them to thrive within the defence industry.
Stepping into the mentoring roles, are four Novans with a diverse mix of experience and knowledge across Strategy, Marketing, Engineering, and Project Management.
“We value the partnership we have formed with TFTC program which contributes to increasing the representation of women within the Defence industry and providing them with the opportunity to grow and enhance their skills in a supportive and more inclusive environment,” said Steven Robinson, Chief Executive Nova Systems Australia and New Zealand.
“Nova’s ongoing involvement in the mentoring program demonstrates our continued commitment to placing people at the centre of everything we do and working to strengthen the retention of women within the Defence industry,” he said.
