The new facility will include a systems integration laboratory for performing mission equipment integration testing, as well as trial new technologies for adoption.
The Nova Systems’ design team will be augmented at Corsham - in addition to our Bournemouth and Bristol sites - providing synergies between design, production and maintenance.
“Our presence at Corsham Science Park is positioning Nova Systems for growth in the airborne special missions market,” said Nova Systems’ Managing Director, International, Gareth Dyer.
“The technologies developed at our new facility will ultimately support airborne public safety uses and will be deployed on the helicopters destined for service with the UK Second-Generation Search and Rescue programme (UKSAR2G) and the Dutch Caribbean Coast Guard (DCCG).
“Given the focus on developing new technologies for airborne special missions applications and the huge amount of work we are delivering, Nova Systems is currently recruiting a number of roles to support our mission systems work at Corsham Science Park including design, production, logistics and administrative support.”
Corsham Science Park is a new development of 20 commercial units in Corsham, Wiltshire.
